The picture to the left shows five different sand cast aluminum alloys.From left AlSi7Mg0,3, AlCu4Ti, AlSi5Mg, AlZn5 and AlSi0,5Mg.
The five alloys have been anodized under the same anodizing condition on separate loads.
The reason for the color variations are due to the different microstructures in the five alloys.
