Next week: South Africa!
I’m overjoyed that I’ll be speaking about sustainability and anodizing at the International Aluminum Conference and Exhibition organized by @AFSA - Aluminum Federation of South Africa.
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (sdgs) is a topic that has my increasing interest and passion.
Aluminum has - in comparison to other materials like copper, steel and wood - an almost unreasonable high carbon footprint.
But as I like to say: Not all aluminum is created equal.
There are plenty of things we can do - as anodizers, OEM’s, product managers, designers etc. - to make sure our aluminum parts are both more durable and friendlier to the environment.
If you’re at the conference - please let´s have a chat about sustainable anodized aluminum.
Here you can also see a video where I share what topics I will talk about at the conference: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/annedeaconjuhl_sustainability-anodizing-sdgs-activity-6988109385788964864-HUUd?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop
